Refreshing the sales record of new machines, 2.38 million running points + IP68,
In the domestic market, the most fiercely competitive segment is likely the price range of 1500-3000 yuan, as this is where the volume models from various manufacturers are concentrated. Within this limited pricing, everyone strives to offer the best configurations to users. Therefore, from the consumer's perspective, mid-range smartphones priced around 2000 yuan are also a more cost-effective choice.
Recently, I also acquired a mid-range backup phone, which is the very popular K70 Supreme Edition. After using it for half a month, I have gained some practical insights into this phone. Next, I will share my user experience, hoping to provide some reference for users who are considering buying this phone.
Firstly, in terms of the initial tactile impression, the K70 Supreme Edition no longer feels cheap. I remember that the previous generation K60 Pro used a plastic frame, and with a 12GB memory + 256GB storage version as an example, its price reached 3899 yuan at that time. You could clearly feel the cheapness upon handling, and many users felt it was not worth the price.
Similarly, with a 12GB memory + 256GB storage version, the starting price of this generation's K70 Supreme Edition is only 2599 yuan. More importantly, it features a combination of a glass back cover and a straight metal frame, offering a texture that rivals flagship phones, and there is no sense of cheapness upon handling.
Secondly, the performance of this phone is particularly powerful. It is equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ processor, along with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage. It also has a 3D Icebound cooling system and a D1 dedicated display chip. The performance configuration is luxurious. I casually ran a benchmark, and it can easily score over 2.2 million points on AnTuTu, which is slightly stronger than the general Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagships. The official benchmark has even reached the highest score in AnTuTu's history—2.38 million points, which is sufficient to show that this phone's extreme performance is very strong.
From the actual experience, the K70 Supreme Edition runs various daily applications smoothly, and in high-load scenarios like Genshin Impact, its frame rate and stability are both very good, even better than most Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones.
Additionally, the screen viewing experience is quite good. This phone features a 6.67-inch 1.5K straight screen, and it is also built based on the latest C8+ substrate from China Star Optoelectronics. The viewing experience is delicate. Moreover, it has a global peak brightness of over 1600 nits, which allows the screen content to be easily seen outdoors, a feature that deserves praise.
Furthermore, the comfort of this screen at night is also good. I checked the data, and it uses 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming below 60 nits of brightness, and switches to quasi-DC dimming above 60 nits. Overall, it is considered very eye-friendly.

As for its photography, I would give it a neutral review. It uses a combination of a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. In fact, the photo quality of this main camera is quite good, using a 1/1.56-inch IMX906 sensor and also supporting optical image stabilization. The image quality is quite satisfactory to me. However, it lacks a telephoto lens, and in daily life, in addition to the main camera, the telephoto is also very commonly used. It is powerless when shooting some distant scenes. Overall, I can only give it a neutral review in terms of photography.
If you are looking for better photography, there is also the Xiaomi 13 to consider at the same price point, as its photography is much stronger compared to the K70 Supreme Edition.Additionally, the battery life is a great surprise. The K70 Pro Edition comes with a 5500mAh battery and 120W fast charging. I have personally tested its endurance and it can easily last over 10 hours of screen-on time in an indoor Wi-Fi scenario, which is an excellent performance. Even with a discount in pure data mode when you're out, it won't cause any anxiety about battery life. Moreover, its charging speed is very fast, taking no more than 30 minutes to go from 0% to 100%, which is much faster than the iPhone I have.
In other configurations, the K70 Pro Edition also has surprises. For instance, it supports IP68 dust and water resistance, a feature that is usually exclusive to flagship models and not even many phones priced around 3500-4000 yuan come with it. Additionally, it features stereo dual speakers, a linear X-axis motor, multifunctional NFC, and infrared remote control.
Overall, if I were to list the advantages of this phone, I would say that its build quality, performance, screen, battery life, and charging speed are all strengths. Compared to most phones in the same price range, it performs better. As for its camera, it's not a significant weakness either, because in phones priced around 2500 yuan, there are generally no great telephoto options.
The K70 Pro Edition broke the first-day sales record of all phones in nearly a year, which is enough to show that in the minds of users, its competitiveness is also extremely strong.
