Real·second charging, Realme releases 320W fast charging + folding 4-cell: 4420m
On August 14th, Realme unveiled its "320W HyperFast Charging" technology, officially announcing that it can fully charge a 4420mAh battery in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Also released were the first "folding 4-cell" technology, the highest power density 320W GaN (Gallium Nitride) charger currently available, an anti-reflective film claimed to reduce reflectivity by 80%, and the first solid-state buttons that support both sliding and pressing actions (yes, the same ones expected to be on the iPhone 16 Pro for simulating zoom and shutter functions).
The "320W HyperFast Charging" power is 33.3% higher than Realme's previously mass-produced 240W fast charging and surpasses Xiaomi's previously announced 300W fast charging. Moreover, this 320W is based on the domestic UFCS (Universal Fast Charging Standard) fusion charging standard.
PS: The commonly seen UFCS 2.0 fusion fast charging protocol generally provides 44W (with 33W typically online), but in reality, the maximum power of UFCS 2.0 is 240W.
At the core of this technology is Realme's pioneering "4-cell folding battery" technology. It uses a flexible circuit board to connect four 2.9mm thick cells together. The new stacking process claims to increase the capacity of the 4 cells by 10% compared to traditional designs.
In terms of safety, in addition to the already commercially available safety protections such as adapter, interface, battery overload protection, and battery fuse protection, Realme claims innovations in the charger, charging protocol, and charging software algorithms.
Physically, Realme's pioneering "air charging" technology may sound mystical, but it is essentially a high-power-density magnetic coupling DCX voltage reduction technology, used to isolate high-voltage electricity from the battery to prevent circuit puncture.
The real challenge was to miniaturize its module, and Realme claims to have compressed the corresponding module to 3mm thick while maintaining a 98% power efficiency for voltage reduction from 40V to 20V.
(In fact, the safety of the cells is not an issue. Compared to the previous 240W fast charging with 10C dual cells, each cell at 120W, the current 4-cell 320W has each cell "only" at 80W, which actually reduces the load by one-third.)
The official 320W fast charger is also very powerful; it is the highest power density 320W GaN charger available today.A power density of 3.3W/cm³, which is a 41% improvement over the previous generation's 240W fast charger, yet the charger's size is almost the same, and it also features dual C-ports. In addition to SuperVOOC, it is compatible with PD, PPS, and UFCS protocols (65W PD for charging computers), which is quite environmentally friendly (the charger on-site did not even have any silk-screen printing, possibly due to confidentiality or other reasons).
The fastest test on-site: 4 minutes and 5 seconds ↑
"Regular performance": 4 minutes and 32 seconds ↑

The highest power at the charger end for the Realme 320W fast charger is 328W (data from Realme's YouTube promotional video). During the 4 on-site tests on August 14th, the times to full charge were 4 minutes and 58 seconds, 4 minutes and 23 seconds, 4 minutes and 5 seconds, and 4 minutes and 32 seconds (starting battery levels were 2% and 3%). We directly take the most conservative performance data, which is already far beyond all historical records.
【Fast Charging Speed Comparison】

No joke, my 320W fast charging can indeed be called "second charging"; its charging speed is more like a capacitor than a battery. Please provide the text you would like translated into English.
